March Madness

We started the month with an awesome camping trip to the beach with my parents. We went to Oceanside and were lucky enough to have found a campsite just steps from the beach. It was nice, but it did storm pretty heavy the second day. By the way, this is the third camping trip I have planned this year that has been rainy. I think I need to let Jake test his luck from now on with dates for camping. Next weekend we are going to Anza Borego (the desert), I would assume there would be some dry weather, we'll see.

Jake and I are great. We love watching our munchkins grow. Allison is now a walker. It all happened so fast, she just strutted her stuff across the living room, turned her head, and threw back a smile. I'm happy....but just a little sad too. No more crawling babies again for us. She can also yell 'An-do', her version of Andrew. It is so stinkin' cute to see the two of them interact with each other. Andrew learned how to say 'Boo yah' from an Alvin and the Chipmunks commercial, and now that is all he yells at us. It is actually pretty funny.... it could be worse. He loves singing to his sister, and informing me 530 times that she is crying. He looks out for her, yet he still pushes her down... I'm guessing this won't change until they're adults. Andrew is now in his toddler bed. He gets out to play when he wants, but on the flip side, his naps have quieted down quite a bit.
Grandma joined us on a train museum field trip. The kids had the chance to explore older trains, and even ring the bell on a kiddy caboose.

We are still waiting to hear back from the bank on the house we put an offer on. There was a mix up/confusion of how our offer was suppose to be submitted...so after 2 months of waiting, we were at square one again. We resubmitted last week....UGH! Our offer was submitted on a new online submission program, it is suppose to be faster...we'll see.

Medical update:
I have been (unfortunately) way more itchy lately. I let my doctor know and he ordered up a blood test for me. The blood test has shown that my liver levels have gone up again. I have to go in for another blood test next week, if that test indicates another rise, then they will schedule another ERCP for me. For those of you not familiar with an ERCP, (in my own words) they sedate you, stick a LONG tube down your throat, and attempt to clear up your bile ducts with a little balloon or stint. I'll let you know how it goes...I'm a little upset, I was doing fantastic for a good stretch of time. I suppose I should be grateful for time spent healthy...I just wanted it to last a little longer. I can't sleep through the night, I am constantly waking up to itch. Poor Jacob is not getting a good night's sleep because of me.

  1. Sarah your little ones are so stinkin' cute! It does not seem possible that she is almost one and walking. An-do is funny, boo-yah, that cracks me up!
Sorry to hear about the medical news, we will continue to pray for you and your health, I hope you get to tell the doctors boo-yah next time and not have to go through your ERCP!!
